With a BA(Hons) in Acting from The University of the Creative Arts Farnham (2019/2022), James has featured in performances of Shakespeare, and of the modern contemporary variety, as well as having experience in musicals and extras work, he originates from Suffolk.
Most recently James has featured in performances of Twelfth Night, he co-wrote, produced and starred in a short social realist film, and performed in a production of Reasons to be Pretty by American playwright Neil LaBute. In the past he has also shown proficiency as a lead role in Chekhov’s The Seagull. Before starting at University he has had past experience with multiple local amateur dramatics organizations in his home town of Lowestoft, Suffolk.
James has been training in acting from a young age, he has learnt all he knows from university, school, college and extracurricular activities outside of regular school hours. At university he has been trained in the techniques of Meisner, Chekhov, and Mamet, just to name a few. He is proficient in an American accent, and is also classically trained in singing, with a long tenure of dance below his belt.
In his spare time, James likes to explore his passion for screen and playwriting, projects he looks to develop in the future. He’s learning to play guitar, James also loves to bake.
